Night Night Farm by Amy Parker

Night night, Farm by Amy Parker and illustrated by Virginia Allyn is an adorable board book for children. It's features many animals on a farm getting ready for bed and all cozying up in the barn to go to sleep. It is also a touch-and-feel book. It reads very easily and captures your little one's attention.

My almost 2 year olds favorite part is petting the horses and the kittens. She loved how glittery the moon and stars are. And the highlight of each page is that each animal says night night in their own animal sound language. So she had lots of fun with the animal sounds and the touch and feel.

This book is published by the Tommy Nelson Company, part of the Thomas Nelson publishing, which is Christian publishing. I was slightly disappointed that there was not so much reflection of this until the last page. They could have easily incorporated prayers or devotionals before bedtime within the story or even more mention of God throughout. The only mention is on the last page, and it states that God created all those animals and that He created us too, night night God. But otherwise, it's a nice little story book. I would definitely recommend it to other little ones as a bedtime book. I'm sure they would take much pleasure in the touch and feel like my little one did.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. And here's my review!
