I recently read the indivisible novel and fell in love with the story! I cannot wait to see the movie as it releases the day before my birthday on DVD. The story of a military chaplain and his little family really touches home for me since my husband is currently undertaking his bachelor's in Theology and pastoral Ministry to become a chaplain as he's already in the military. Their story why is inspiring and touching. When I got the opportunity to check out the devotional oh, I was all over it! In the introduction you are encouraged to decide to commit to the book for the 50 days, putting aside intentional and I'm distracted time to focus on your marriage. Pick a time and place that's great for both of you and a place that is comfortable and away from distractions. Read it together and carefully and create a connection but most of all, pray, pray for each other and together! Just that in itself, told me but this is the real deal!
Each day is divided with a verse, an inspirational message and a connection creating discussion as well as a few questions that bring you more in depth, along with an inspirational thought to tie it all together. Each one of the 50 days has a different theme, to bring you closer together and work hard on your marriage. The book also has a lovely ribbon bookmark to keep your spot, so in the hustle and bustle of everyday life oh, you can remember where you are and pick up where you left off.
I look forward to going through this devotional with my husband. The cover is beautiful and is hard covered. It already has crayon marks on it as one of our little ones took it upon herself to "write mama's name" on her new book! I would definitely recommend it to all couples, especially military ones!
